I think I can safely link to this without breaking my rule regarding politics.
In light of money not spent on infrastructure in New Orleans that might have prevented the hurricane Katrina catastrophe the blogosphere has taken up the challenge of identifying pork barrel spending on a state by state basis.
This should be more reasonable than the so called watch dog group that does this now. That group thought that the levies in New Orleans were pork just as they thought that flood walls in Columbus Ohio were pork.
I had a friend who survived the flood in Columbus in 1913, I'll always remember what he had to say about it. It went something like this: " I asked my mom if I could bring my motorbike into the kitchen so it wouldn't get wet from the rising waters. Two hours later they were taking us out of a second story window in a boat."
Help the blogosphere cut the fat. Go here.
