accounting

It helps to look at things differently.

I tend to like organizing and planning things but I am not obsessive about it. I guess that is why the old Franklin Organizer didn't last very long with me. Of course Franklins didn't last very long with most people. A wave of popularity and then into the bottom drawer of the desk.

Now I am taking up accounting.

I have some columnar pads and I am going to use them as record keepers of my efforts.

In the back I have written down the subjects that I want and need to do something about. Some of these items are listed as daily, some weekly and some monthly. The pad will sit by itself on the tableto, after I do the de-clutter bit that is, and I will make entries everyday.

Of course there is more to it than just using it as some sort of diary. Assets and liabilities will need to be determined and I should come up with a balance sheet at the end of every month. Hey! If I do that maybe I can even graph stuff!

Well, maybe I don't need to do that.

My desires haven't changed much as the years roll by even though my focus may narrow. Daily work needs to be done on diet and exercise, writing and music, and of course finances. Weekly I have to work on the house and the vehicles while monthly projects should be found for photography and woodworking.

This is not a plan, this is a method.
