autosuggestion

Napoleon Hill calls it autosuggestion but he doesn't mean self-hypnosis. He describes it as a method of penetrating the sub-conscious for the effect of making personal change.

This is the reason you write out a statement about your intentions and read it aloud two or three times a day.

I think of it as directed thinking. I know what I want to think versus what I usually think so I can direct my thoughts in the direction I want to go.

As an example I mentioned in my last post a Jaguar XK-150 coupe and wouldn't you know it, I woke up dreaming about that same car.
