everything is right

I don't write about politics. I am certainly interested in it and have my opinions, I just won't write about it.

There's no shortage of bloggers covering the subject, and if you find one then you have probably found half of them by looking at their links list.

Some of them are level headed clear thinking writers, some of them are simply derivative and some of them are clearly mistaken. They are mistaken not in their viewpoints but in their way of arriving at their viewpoints.

We all know people who suffer from the error of supposing that because everything is not right with the world then everything must be wrong in the world. The error of supposing that since everyone is not good then everyone must be, at heart, bad.

That simply is not the way it is.

Let others rant, I prefer to be a quiet soldier in the background putting my house in order and helping where I can. There are more of us then there are of them.

Tend your own yard and help your neighbor tend his if he will let you. You will find the world is a better place than it looks when you see it through the rants of others.
