When I am on the internet I usually have 2 or 3 windows open in Firefox for different sites I am visiting. I might be reading something on one page while letting another page load behind it, pictures at photo.net or another blog or a forum page, I am still on a phone line.
I often have one other application running, Freecell. Oh my God do I ever waste time with Freecell. I have won 1484 consecutive games in Freecell, deals numbered 1 through 1484. I actually made a mistake and lost a game this week but I got a do over by hacking the registry!
Too bad we all can't hack the registry in our lives. Go back to the moment, the tipping point, when things started to go wrong. Erase the record and substitute something better. Of course it isn't that easy. Our registries are composed of thousands and thousands of entries and their effect is accumulative.
Now that is the trick, the entries are accumulative, that means we can start making positive entries that will make a difference over time.
Don't like exercise? You learned that somewhere in your past, you can learn to like exercise, if you want to make improvements in your life.
Don't like to read books? Must have been forced to read some crappy books when you were little. Ask some readers for some recomendations for some good books to read, nice easy thin ones. It will be a richly rewarding experience in your life.
Well, that's all for now, there is some static coming in from above and I can't write very well under these conditions.
File under self improvement.
