I like all forms of racing.
If it's a race I will stop to watch. And I have no use for crashes.
I like all forms of auto and motorcycle racing, boats and airplanes are a little less interesting because they are less competitive. Racing is passing, and if the chance of seeing a pass diminishes so does my interest in the race.
I like bicycle racing too. Some of the best races I ever saw were kids on BMX bikes. There are lessons to be learned in racing. I will be writing about that this summer.
The big news in cycle racing today is that Lance Armstrong has confirmed that he will be in the 2005 Tour de France. Keep up with your cycle racing news at Velonews.
