urgency

Time flies.

This has been most true for me. I have always let time slip by unattended. Takes me years to get some things done. If they ever get done at all.

A few weeks have passed now since I first thought of a new blog and I feel the urgency of working on it. It will be a subject specific blog, reporting on seasonal events and then off seasonal preparations.

The season fast approaches. It starts in the south and creeps north relentlessly. Cameras, car and schedule need to be put in order. Web site needs built, some equipment needs to be purchased. There is a certain excitement attached to the idea.

It is the excitement that creates the urgency. If there are things that you want to get done but they don't excite you then perhaps you should re-evaluate the need to do them.

Time does fly and you only have time for so much.
