My brother and I had identical Huffy Silver Streaks back in the 60's.

He let his get stolen and I guess I can't remember what happened to mine, must have outgrown it by high school.

Cruisers remain my favorite choice of bike to this day. I have 2, both Schwinns, a Heavy Duti and a Deluxe Supreme.

I much prefer riding a bike to an exercise bike in the gym. When you start to get tired indoors you get off and hit the showers. When you start to get tired on the real thing you still have to turn around and go all the way back. Twice the workout.
