lost its appeal

The place where I work has associate lunches once in a while. A big plate of sometimes edible food for a buck.

Since I work on 2nd shift with a small crew I had to go in early to enjoy this benefit. Two beef brisket sandwiches, potatoes, Cole slaw and a coke, I skipped the cookies.

After two weeks of drinking nothing but water the coke had completely lost its appeal. I use to love the stuff but now I could taste the tinny flavor of the can. I hope it has lost its hold on me.
