throw it out

Just spent the weekend working on my writing area. Things had really gotten out of hand.

Threw away most of my old notebooks, some were nearly full and some were nearly empty.

I was reading through the entries from 1999, a particularly hard year for me.

Some things that were important then are not important now.

Some things that I wanted to do never got done.

That's the way it goes when you do not put one major goal right in front of you, life gets in the way and opportunity drifts away. Five years from now you think of it and wonder why you're not there yet.

Throw out the flotsam and set a major purpose to aim at, don't let the years go by.
