Add and Remove Programs.
I've spent the morning cleaning up a computer. MyDoom virus please be gone, delete this, delete that, add this, add that. A few hours work that I do for a few people from time to time. Repeat offenders of course.
Easy metaphor here, if we could change ourselves in a few hours wouldn't we?
Delete this bad habit, add this good one. If only it was that easy!
Well it is pretty easy, it is just the starting that is hard. When I say that self improvement is all about thinking that is the starting point. Start by writing down your goals of course but simple goals are not the whole picture. Write down the software that you want your brain to be running for each goal. Once you have the program of your choice running everything else will follow.
