The fast is over. 6 days no food just water. No problem. Lost 21 pounds and feel much better.
Some unexpected intestinal issues told me I was done this morning, I won't go into the details.
Easy to figure out why though, lack of preparation. I simply didn't bother to taper down to the fast. Did the same thing last time I fasted. Won't happen next time.
Had a salad seasoned with spices and vinegar. Oranges and pineapple slices on top, and some vegetable cheese substitute from the health foods section, and some unsalted peanuts. A more delicate soul might be advised to quite on half an orange, I live recklessly.
Will have the same salad again later and some vegetable soup also. That will be it for the day.
I am going to become very friendly with the produce section at the grocer. I will be on fruits and vegetables for a while to maintain progress on my definite major purpose.
Never been much of a fruit and veggie guy but a fast clears the decks, levels the playing field, all flavors get a new respect. I plan to eat more of it than appeals to me even now.
I won't go hungry.
